Thermal imaging investigation as/when needed. We will not do anything that could cause damage to the property being inspected, but we will get a good idea of it's condition. _________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
If you don't want it thorough, you don't want us. We don't do "rubber stamp" inspections--you very well MAY NOT like what you find! Take charge of your inspection; look for possible current and future problems. Rely on our experience to work in your behalf.
I have been inspecting homes and buildings since early 1997. The number of structures examined is now well into the thousands, in every town and neighborhood in northeastern Illinois. I have held a state license since the first year they were required, and I am fully insured. I keep myself current on the various issues and problems which affect homes, and try to make sure the prospective buyer understands what he or she may be getting into with the purchase.
Prior to starting my inspection business, I was involved in construction projects all over the country after graduating from West Virginia University in 1974. This involved railroad tunnels in Kentucky and Utah to cleaning up an old uranium mill in Colorado for the Department of Energy. Doing housing construction and rehabilitation projects, water supply and infrastructure, urban mass transit and environmental remediation, I followed the work wherever it led. And of course, I got in on the Chicago Deep Tunnel project as well. From the planning to the implementation, whatever the job, I enjoyed the entire process.
Your home inspection will be as thorough as you want it. Most people opt for the simple pre-sale inspection which lasts a few hours, but if you wish we can assemble a team of the various tradesmen who can go thru the building for days and provide the most thorough report you can imagine. Whatever your budget, don't choose not to do an inspection; get an idea of what you're buying. _________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
